What the service is
WeddingSeatChart is a browser-based tool for arranging guests at tables. The editor is free to use and requires no account. Optional paid print packs provide designed, print-ready versions of your chart.
What the tool checks — and what it does not
Before you export, the tool checks four things:
- No guest is seated more than once.
- No guest on your list is left without a seat.
- Every seat in the plan is a seat that actually exists.
- Nobody you have marked to keep apart is sharing a table with the person you marked them against.
It does not decide who should sit with whom. Marking a pair to keep apart produces a warning and nothing else — the tool will not move anyone, reorder a table, or seat guests automatically from rules, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming otherwise. Those judgements remain entirely yours.
The checks are about the internal consistency of the plan. They cannot tell you that a seating arrangement is a good one.
Your plan is your responsibility
Your plan is stored only in your browser. We do not hold a copy and cannot restore one. You are responsible for exporting and keeping your own backup before the day.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to attempt to disrupt or overload it, or to resell or redistribute the print pack files as your own product. You may use exported files for your own event, including printing them commercially.
Payment, downloads and refunds
Print packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The pack is generated in your browser from the plan on your device, so there is no file on our servers to re-send: you can regenerate it as often as you like, for as long as that browser holds both the plan and the unlock. Keep a copy of the PDF and a backup of the plan. If you lose the unlock but still have the plan, email us from the address on your Stripe receipt and we will restore access.
Because these are digital files delivered immediately, the checkout page states that completing the purchase is a request for immediate delivery and therefore waives the statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal that applies to consumers in the UK and EU. If you have not generated the files, you may still request a refund within fourteen days.
If a file is faulty or does not match its description, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
Prices are in US dollars and are charged once, at the amount shown on the page at the time you buy.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any loss arising from a seating plan — including a plan lost because browser data was cleared, or an arrangement that displeased a guest.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms; the date above will change with them. Material changes to paid products will not apply retroactively to a purchase already made.
