About WeddingSeatChart

WeddingSeatChart does one thing: it lets you arrange your wedding guests at tables in the browser, and checks the plan before you print it. Your guest list never leaves your device — it is held in your own browser, not on a server, which also means we cannot see it and cannot recover it for you.

Why the editor is free

All the work happens in your browser, so there is no per-use cost to cover. The editor stays free with no account and no guest limit, and its CSV and print exports cost nothing. The plan is that the finished article — a seating sign your printer can use, place cards, and a table list for the venue — becomes a one-time purchase. It is not on sale yet: there is nothing on this site you can buy today.

What it checks, and what it does not

Before you export, three things are checked: that nobody is seated twice, that nobody on your list was left without a seat, and that every seat in the plan actually exists. Those are the mistakes that look fine on screen and become obvious on the day.

It does not decide who should sit with whom. There is no rule engine for keeping particular guests together or apart in this version, and you will not find that claimed anywhere on this site. If that is what you need today, wedding.studio offers it for free — we would rather point you there than pretend.
